  • Management of behavioural problems such as sensory defensiveness, hyperarousal and attention problems.
  • Special educational strategies.
  • Some medical problems such as epilepsy and emotional problems such as mood and attention disorders can be treated with medication.
  • Educational, behavioural and medical interventions are utilised in the ongoing care of adults with fragile X syndrome.
